The ICDD (International Center for Diffraction Data) and ISSC UrB RAS (Institute of Solid State Chemistry, Ural Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences) will organize the Grant-in-Aid workshop in Ekaterinburg on 29 September - 2 October, 2003. 

The Institute of Solid State Chemistry, Ural Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences is the local organizer of the workshop. Total number of participants is estimated as 40. The Workshop was held at the Institute of Solid State Chemistry,  91 Pervomayskaya Str., fifth floor, assembly hall.

A proposal for a Grant-in-Aid can be submitted during the workshop (please visit http://www.icdd.com/grants for more information).

How you get to the Institute of Solid State Chemistry? 

You can get to Pervomayskaya Str. 91,:
from railway station
by trolleybus N18 or N19 to Sof’i Kovalevskoi trolley stop, or by tram N23, N32, A to Pervomayskaya tram stop and then along the Pervomayskaya Str. by foot till the ISSC.

from airport
by bus N167 to Avtovokzal bus stop where you change to bus N50, 50A which will take you to USTU-UrPI bus stop, then by foot till the ISSC.

Your travel (railway tickets) and accommodation expenses in Ekaterinburg will be covered by the ICDD, if the organizing committee will approve your application. Please procure your return ticket for October 2, 2003.               

Participants are kindly invited to bring posters (0.9 x 1.2 m) to highlight their activity in X-ray powder diffraction.
